Happy Summer from beautiful Vancouver 🙂 Are you ready for summer and packed your essentials? But how are you staying hydrated and feeling refreshed? We got you covered with some yummy recipes to try out this summer.
It’s so so important to stay hydrated but to make your drinks more delicious, here are a couple of easy fruit infused water ingredients to try.
1. Pineapple and Mint water: Good for joint pain, arthritis and digestive system
What you will need: Water, 1/4 pineapple peeled and cut into triangles, 8-10 mint leaves
Instruction: Place 8 cups of water in a pitcher or large bowl. Add pineapple and mint leaves. Refrigerate at least 3 hours before using. Keep refrigerated up to 2 days. Strain before serving.
2. Orange, lemon and ginger water: Great for blood circulation, aid digestion and immune system booster
What you will need: Water, 1/4 of an orange ( sliced), 1 lemon, 3″ peeled ginger root
Instruction: Place in the pitcher of clean, filtered 8 cups of water. Add orange, lemon and ginger. Refrigerate water 2-3 hours before using. Keep refrigerated up to 2 days.
3. Cucumber and Mint water: Good for re-hydration, anti-inflammatory and digestion
What you will need: Water, 15-20 thin slices of cucumber, 4 mint leaves
Instruction: Mix 1 gallon of water with mint leaves and cucumber in a glass pitcher. Add some ice or put it in the fridge about 2-3 hours.
